The picture you didn’t notice me take

I photograph the things people mean to remember, in the moment they’re least aware of them.

I’ve been photographing since 2014 — weddings and the quiet around them, the table where food and people meet, festivals and the open road, and the cars that hold the light like water. I wait, I don’t arrange, and I let the day decide what matters. The work has carried me from Belgium to wherever it leads, and from ID&T and Tomorrowland to a wedding’s last slow dance. What I hand back is the day as it was, kept well long after it has gone quiet.
